Byte Quota

Can anyone point me in the right direction for implementing the
byte-based quota system? I tried just swapping the two objects
(#0.quota_utils=#0.byte_quota_utils) and I'm getting a loop when a
programmer creates an object but there aren't any dead ones in the
recycler.

$recycler:_create calls $quota_utils:bi_create which in turn calls
$recycler:_create.

I appologize if this is a basic question, but unfortunately, there's no
easy way to search the back mailings.
