Outbound Mail -- 503 Need MAIL before RCPT

There's a bug in the $mail moo-code, fairly deep down where the
interaction with the mail-port is supported: believe it or not, it's
just a matter of an extraneous space following the ":".  

i've just now tried to retrace my steps to the relevant module, but
haven't found it yet.  Like i said, look for the code that puts the
MAIL and RCPT strings into the message, and just remove the trailing
whitespace following the ":".  Worked for me.
