Hrm.  Perhaps this is a stupid question, or an FAQ, but is the server
inherently capable of multiple port listens?

If so, then it should be as trivial for that case; simply create/bind all
sockets before switching away from root. 

As for outgoing ports, I can't see a need for any outgoing port to ever be
<1024 -- that just seems silly to me ;)
