Request: db file path changibility

I've got a server request that has been mentioned in the past, though not
in our current discussion.  How difficult would it be to allow wizards to
alter the file path to which the db is checkpointed?  A number of people
(by some stroke of fortune, not yet including me) have managed to nuke the
directory in which they had been checkpointing a db, and though their MOO
is still running it is gone forever at the next shutdown/crash.
