1)  On no MOO have I ever encountered such a policy, either explicitly or
implicitly.  Nor have I ever advocated anything like it on the MOOs I have
admined.  In fact, I find that one of the most fascinating elements of MOO
is that players entirely define who they "are", via their description, 
their name and their gender. 

2)  This subject, being social and not technical, is probably going to 
earn you a lot of flames.  How do we feel about social discussion on 
moo-cows now?
