Change $network.maildrop to "127.0.0.1".  If your MOO server cannot do 
hostname-to-IP resolution (ie WinMOO), or for some reason your 
name-resolution processes crash (a problem with certain 1.7.x servers), 
"127.0.0.1" will always work.
