Decompressing .tar.Z ?

Well, I got as far as running 'sh configure', but I couldn't 'make'.  The 
lost likely possiblity is that we have run out of disk space (I send a 
request for more).  But I'm not sure that's the problem.  It says there 
was an error writing name_lookup.o (I think).  I'd do a cut/copy/paste to 
show you, but I don't have a Mac! :(

I'd appreciate any input whatsoever...I'm so close! :)
