Why not go for the base OS/2 port?  All of the advantages, none of the 
disadvantages.  Its a little older (LambdaMOO 1.7.9alpha1), but
considering the __extremely__ minimal changes required for the port updating to the 
current cut should be fairly trivial.  Last I heard you could get the OS/2 port as 
follows:
