No, it converts to .pvf and then to .wav fine, but its just static,
although its strange static... however, if I take the same sample, and
play it through the modem (like, for the greeting message), its fine.

So, the problem is :

1) I can record .rmd samples using the mic in on my voice modem
2) I can play those same samples through the modem in the greeting with
vgetty no problem
3) I can't convert wav to .rmd using wavtopvf and then pvftormd.. its
garbage
when the modem tries to play it
4) I can't convert messages recorded from the modem to .pvf to .wav..
once again, its static

Its weird. Its like the modem is saving in a strange format, and vgetty
is putting the wrong header on it. Maybe. I don't know what else the
problem could be, it seems to play and record fine on the modem, but I
just can convert to the modem's rmd format, and I can't convert from
it. Bizarre. Oh, just in case you are wondering, yes, my sound card is
fine. I can use play and mpg123 with no problems.

Help! ;)

Thanks ;)
