Rockwell keeps waiting for atdt return

Gert,
Tried some different settings and supprise, it works. I have no idea what I
did, but since it's working my problem is solved. I can now receive faxes
and telnet calls. Sending faxes also works fine. The voice part doesn't
work, but that's no problem.
It seems one of the settings made mgetty skip the part waiting for ATD1.
Thanks anyway,
Christiaan Schaake.

Hummm, actually, sendfax will wait for some response from the modem, and
all that comes back is the ATD1 echo.
Could I have some more log? Does it recover in some way ("NO CARRIER")
or will it just hang until sendfax times out?

Depends - sometimes, "get a new modem". Sometimes "new firmware".
Sometimes the problem is somewhere in the serial cabling, etc. - one
needs to see more of the log.
