Message-program and caller id

Hi!

I put in message_program shell script that stores enviroment variables and 
only information about caller ID is the phone number (under the
variable $CALLER_ID).
Where would I get the name?
Also is there a way to associate the weird filename with number or some
description? For example, could the name of file be available through API
as for example $FILENAME?
