Hi,
My setup:
- 486-DX2-66 with SuSE 6.1
- mgetty+sendfax 1.1.21
- External USRobotics Sportster Flash.
- Mgetty windows client version 1.5
I tried to send a fax to a friend of mine and it turns out that the fax is
not received correctly: Only the top 3-5 cm of each page of the fax is
received. When I send two pages he only gets the top of both pages.
I checked the two files (f1.g3 and f2.g3) that were still on my machine in
the queue (labeled as done) and both are 1728x2157x1 bpp bitmaps that look
fine in an image viewer (I converted them to BMP and did that in NT).
The modem has been configured for dailout using pppd (works), answering
machine using vgetty (works) and dailout using sendfax (my problem).
Can anyone give me a hint what I'm doing wrong ?
If the information below here is not enough please tell me what else is
needed.
NOTE: I changed the faxnumbers for privacy reasons.
