Hello,

I have a Problem with my Creatix LC144VF modem running linux 1.2.13 on the
computer.
It seems, that voice mode is working in general as recording messages with
the builtin microphone is possible (with zplay -m ). 
But running as a telephone answering machine the voice recorded from 
the telephone line is garbled and in most cases not complete, which means that
the recording stops before the call is finished. 

I already tried to increase the transfer rate on the serial line (between
computer and modem) using setserial. The serial interface is set to 57600 or 
even 118000 bps and pure data-transmission (ppp) is still working. But no voice
operation is done then which means that even replaying any recorded voice
file via the modem is not possible. And as recording with 38400 bps via the
internal microphone works just fine, I think that the transfer rate is not
the problem. 

Can anybody help?
