Hmmmm, both modems have their advantages and disadvantages.
For DATA, I'd say the USR is better than the ZyXEL, 'cause it's more
robust.
For FAX, I'd recommend the ZyXEL because I *know* that their current fax
implementation works very good. Can't say yet for current USR models.
[Basic fax sending and reception works fine for the USR as well, but
e.g. fax polling did not work last time I looked]
For VOICE, someone from the voice camp has to comment on the USR drivers.
ZyXEL VOICE works fine.
In general, the ZyXEL has more nice features, but the USR may be a bit
more stable for day-to-day use with mostly data calls.
