Status of vgetty & isnd4linux

The README of the last versions of vgetty (I had mgetty-0.99.8) tells
that vgetty does not work together with isdn4linux -- though there's 
a driver as I saw from the sources. I assume that the driver does not
work with the new structure of vgetty.

Can anybody tell something about the current status?

PS: I just installed a teles (16.3) based isdn4linux. There's already
    an answering machine package called vbox (1.0) wich comes with i4l-utils.
    It is based on an older version of vgetty. As I'm still using mgetty/vgetty +
    sendfax, it would be the best solution if I could use it with i4l too.

    I'm not shure if there's another version of vbox, I only know 1.0. The
    current vgetty  has much more features (speakdate, remote access, etc.).
