mail2fax frontend

I am trying to install the frontend mail2fax from Thomas Bullinger 
(included in the mgetty distribution)

But I get the following error:
    ==> my setup is linux 2.0.26

    Fax-To: 
    Fax-User: test
    Fax-Pass: test

    Test - what else.

syntax error at /usr/local/bin/mail2fax.pl line 135, near "print"
String found where operator expected at /usr/local/bin/mail2fax.pl line 
135, near "MAILFILE "To: $From\n""
        (Do you need to predeclare MAILFILE?)
Execution of /usr/local/bin/mail2fax.pl aborted due to compilation errors.


Any ideas ?
