merging fax pages

You need to use either pnmpaste or pnmcomp from the netpbm set of tools.

To do this you first need to convert both g3 images to pbm using g3topmb (the 
mgetty version, not the netpbm one), then combine them (pnmpaste overwrites an 
area of one image with the other, whereas pnmcomp overlays), then convert them 
back to g3 with pbmtog3 (again the mgetty version).
