I installed the binary version of mgetty 1.1.14-5 and mgetty-voice and
mgetty-sendfax yesterday. But I am a bit confused in the options and where
to find what in the manuals and configurations files.
Some questions:
Do I have to configure some things manually in my modem or can I do a facory
reset and store it?
I have 1 isdn line with 3 MSN numbers.
The main number is 351522
The one used for fax is 352485
I have analog phone connected to 351987
- I do not want to answer the 351987 with my Zyxel
- I want to recieve and forward to E-mail faxes comming in on 352485
- On 351522 I want (if the come in) revieve voice calls and use it as an
answering machine. Perhaps even forwrd the messages by e-mail to my PC at
work. (And reviece it in a PC readable format)
- If an (ISDN) data call comes in I (on 352485!) want to start PPP
- If an ISDN data call comes in on 351522 I do not want it to be anwserd by
the Zyxel 2864I (I have a Cisco for that)
BAsicly if people can give me some clue's in where to configure what and
some hints I willl be able to work it out. Do I need to get the source of
the program and compile it myself? OR can it all be done with the binaries
(I am a bit scared of compiling etc, because I have never done it)
