Preach it, Brother! I had a "discussion" with a friend of mine the
other day about spamming. Seems he had just bought this wonderful
bulk email program that was going to be so effective for advertising
his business. I tried to tell him it would go over like the
proverbial lead baloon, but he said he had researched it, and it was
legal, and everything he had read said how effective and inexpensive
it was.
The guys selling these spam generators are the ones at fault. They
prey on the newbies, and then the newbies spam us, mostly out of
ignorance, because they believed the sales pitch of the spam tool. I
think we ought to figure out a way to launch denial of service attacks
on the spam tool vendors. Legally, of course. :-)
