No. You have to download the mgetty-1.1.19.tar.gz source from somewhere,
uncompress, configure, patch from the patch file (by hand to be
sure), compile, install.

That's why it's a patch, since it's preliminary software. It might
work in a next version of mgetty (be it included or not, since
Gert --- the mgetty author --- has ideas how to implement it).

I use this patch since, well, probably around september on a middle
busy system, no hang.
