Sorry to look stupid, but I think I am getting the hang of it:
In my 1.1.19.tar.gz is a directory called patches: it contains:
[root@Bonifatius patches]# ls
README ecu320.p1 gslp.ps-iso.p pbmtext.iso-p pnmtops.p1
dip337.p1 fas212.p1 pbmdot.dif pbmtog3.p1 taylor104.p1
[root@Bonifatius patches]#
I think that are not the patches you mean: They must be on your WEB site:
URL:http://www-internal.alphanet.ch/~schaefer/vgetty/global_patches/vgetty-0
1011999.patch
If i click (with a browser) I get the following:
diff -rP original/mgetty-1.1.19/voice/libvoice/Makefile
SRC/a1/libvoice/Makefile
6c6< # $Id: Makefile,v 1.5 1998/11/17 11:48:38 marc Exp $---

Etx etc.
I just save this page to a text file and then it should work? I am a bit
confused by all the > signs in front of each line!
I will try as soon as I am back behind my Unix RH 5.1 kernel 2.0.36 system!
(It would be easyier to make it "FTPable", less confusion to my opinion.)
Sorry for my bad english and perhaps, for you wizards, stupid questions.
