2 Years for mgetty! When is 1.2 Expected?

I can confirm. I think I installed the first mgetty on my BULL DPX
2027/Questar 700 around 1993.

very badly at the moment. But we could set a goal, such as
   version 1.2 in start of march
      with mvm integrated into vgetty
      more documentation for vgetty
      with all modems tested.

it's not that vgetty doesn't work. It works very well (ok, -current
doesn't compile), but it's lacking documentation. Also, I want
to integrate mvm, but again, mvm lacks documentation, and in its
case also maturity.

Where I don't feel good is also the success reports: I have to
find a way to build a file with all the supported modem/firmware
releases so I can tell people: this WORKS, this doesn't.
