The MicroLink 56k is "pretty good", but not as good as the ZyXEL 1496 yet.

I think you would have to use an external "voice shell" program (see
demo.sh in the voice source tree, and call it from voice.conf - there's a
setting how to disable all built-in stuff, and ONLY call external voice
shell scripts).
