mgetty and pap

Hi all I'm trying to setup a ppp pap server using mgetty. I have compiled it
into mgetty and enabled the /AutoPPP/ line in login.config But the logfile
seems to indicate that /AutoPPP/ is a bad login when someone tries to pap in.
the actual user name and password for the account is valid and the ppp
session works if a chat script is used. Does anyone have any suggestions on
what I'm missing?
