Any clues on what settings to use for a USR SportsterVoice
(things like pvftormd).

I tried at 44.1KHz and did a wavtopvf, then pvftormd US...4 ...
came up with a wrong speed (vgetty trying to play it).

When I reduced the speed to 8KHz using either mode 1 or 4
it sounds stretched out and long ... 4 sounds better, 1
more garbled ...
