mgetty-1.1.19 + solaris 2.6

Check the serial cable.  This usually happens if DCD doesn't arrive at
mgetty's end.  Or look into the log file - mgetty will log the state of
the serial port lines.

See the other posting just seen - 62 modems, 2500 calls a day.  Seems to
work.
