Problems creatix modem

Hello there,


i used mgetty 1.1.8-Jul27 long times with ZyXEL U-1496+ modem without problems.

now modem is a creatix 28800 
init string send: \dATQ0V1H0[0d]

additional info: 'Creatix Polymedia GmbH  V1.00  18/08/94'

switchbaud is 19200

the host is configured as dialin server for ppp-connections and
sometimes there is a problem with connect from us-robotics from
outside. (no problems with other users).
The modem means there is a fax outside and mgetty therefore is using
faxmode while the user wants ppp.

Is someone using same hardware and can tell me a functional init
to use fax and modem line together without problems ?
