Pulse Dialing

After much shell scripting and reinstalling and compiling and RCPing, we finally
have a fax server setup that will take any input we throw at it. Recently our
modem died, so I replaced it with a Hayes Accura 144+144 on a Linux redhat 5.1
Kernel 2.0.34 box. I cant get the thing out of Pulse dial. I've torn apart all
the docs and man pages and edited everywhere that it suggested. I've edited
configs and .h's, inserted Init strings and all kinds of mess. But I cant get
the sucker out of Pulse dial. Anyone have any idea or know of a file that stores
all the modem commands that maybe isnt in the documentation?
