How to send faxes from a mac

I have just sent my first fax from a Windows 95 client 
through samba and it works fine. Samba launches the printfax 
perl script and I have a program called Respond in Windows
which asks the recipients fax number.

But now I'm wondering if there is any usable solution 
for sending faxes from a mac client. I couldn't find any
information in the mgetty package. So if you have some
information on this matter, would you tell me. Thanks!
