No Mac-Expert at all, but isnŽt there support for AppleTalk in the
Linux-Kernel? Then you should be able to setup sth. like a "Printer-Share",
so defining a PS-Printer on the Mac should be almost sufficient, to get yout
data to the server.
Now, what to do with the fax-number? I can only offer a quikŽnŽdirty
solution for M$-Word:
- insert a field of type
'{ PRINT "%LprFaxProperties: 1223243432 resolution" }' into the Word-Document
- on the server-side by a simple grep you will be able to get the information
needed before spooling the PS-file to faxsend.
