sorry for writing in german, silly me.

here is the answer for my own question in english:
I got a new firmware version for my Creatix LC144VF (not yet tested) 
and put it on 

	lyra.tat.physik.uni-tuebingen.de:/pub/koenig

there are no erratas availble on this new version but I was told the following
facts while phoning with Creatix:

- some minor problems with some fax machines have been fixed
- adpcm output level (voise volume) can be set by software but the guy 
  didn't know which AT#... command has to be used (we've to ask Rockwell)
- 3 bit ADPCM is no longer supported.

If this is your first firmware upgrade you might want to read the README
for the 1.5 firmware upgrade first...
