Hi, 

I've read the docs on the vgetty issue relating to vgetty not
correctly interpreting a DATA call as DATA and seeing it as a voice
call. This appears to be happening with my fathers US Robotics Sporster..

I was wondering if anybody had a sure fire way to make this detection
more reliable? For instance, my father did successfully connect today
but when I got home and had him try again it basically gave him "NO
CARRIER" ie. nothing whatsoever because vgetty treated the call as
voice.
