pvftoau broken

Hi all!

I just confirmed, that the pvftoau converter is broken in the current vgetty
release. I'm not sure, what the problem is. Is someone out there a
specialist about the au format? The converter produces very distorted
output. It is still possible to listen to it, but the quality is very bad.
