coverpg.ps

I am attempting to use this example included with the distribution, but
have been unsuccessful thusfar.  I have tried to run it from the
faxspool program (as make.coverpg) and directly both with the error
message:
No such file or directory.
I've read through the program and am not sure what I am missing.  I have
run the coverpg.pbm successfully (except the page count is incorrect) so
I'm not sure what is going on.  I've tried running the ghostscript
command that is executed at the end of the program and it runs
properly.  Has anyone used this or adapted it for their own needs?  Any
help is appreciated.
