Hi Folks,
i use Hylafax Faxgetty-daemon on a Elsa Microlink 28.8 TQV Modem
for receiving fax-messages (sorry no mgetty but i need the
network-Funktions).
When a data-call comes in faxgetty runs automaticly the mgetty-daemon
(from Suse 5.3 mgetty-Version 1.1.8-20) with the following arguments (in
file /var/spool/fax/etc/config.ttyS1):
GettyArgs: "-r -x 9 -b -s %s %l"
in /etc/mgetty+sendfax/mgetty.config are the following entrys:
login-time 20
direct y
data-only yes
toggle-dtr n
so here comes the problem:
When hylafax detects a data-call the mgetty-daemon is started. When the
caller
kills the line (hang up or pull the cabel out) before mgetty is started
properly the line
is terminated andmgetty runs for ever blocking the line and waiting for
a call. Is
there an easy elegant way to tell mgetty to terminated itself after some
time.
