... it would be a pleasure to be a thorn in 3com's flesh... I'm quite
displeased with their support as well.  (To be precise: the european crew
is pretty good, and they are willing to help, but they don't get any
resources from "management layer", so there isn't much they can do, unless
a lot of "we will not buy these 500 modems if this is not fixed"-pressure
is applied - which I can't do).
