I use that under Linux 2.0.27 and vgetty.0.99.4.

 *  nobody dialin /usr/bin/rlogin -8E vulcan -l @

My rlogin is quite old

 bash# uname -a
 Linux vulcan 2.0.27 #17 Sat Feb 1 18:32:26 MET 1997 i586
 bash# ls -la /usr/danger/general/rlogin 
 -rwsr-xr-x 1 root  bin  12292 May 11 1995 /usr/danger/general/rlogin
