using vgetty in Australia

Hi 

after getting mgetty up and running, I started looking at possibly
installing vgetty.
While reading the file voice.conf-dist I came across this section.

# In Australia the frequency of the busy signal is the same as the

# some modems. They report a fax calling tone, when there is a busy
# signal in reality. To help those user, vgetty will ignore any fax

As I am yet to buy a voice capable modem.

Any recommendations, comments from local users using a voice, fax and data
setup would be greatly appreciated.
