I use vgetty with a USR Sportster, US model.
The only thing i have noticed, is sometimes when a caller hangs up without
leaving a message, the machine interprets the busy signal as a fax tone,
and tries to receive.

Well, the USR works fine. CallerID works here too.
I hacked the source to append the CND info to a separate log.
