gs-pbmtog3 -- scaling problem

I didn't try tiger.ps, but I generated a postscipt file with the 
postscript driver of Micrografix in WIN 3.11. When I print this file on 
my laserjet it looks fine. However when converting it to g3 and faxing it 
to a fax the gray planes looked like rasterized blocks.

Maybee it's my GS version ?? I'm using 2.6.1.
