Handshake-error with sendfax

Hello,

I have a serious problem with sendfax. 

I will get a connection to the other Faxmachine and everything seems to
be allright. They do handshaking with each other, but sendfax is 
waiting for XON-Handshake wich never comes. Nothing happens. 

I have just tried to switch on the modems software-handshake but 
with no success.

Any ideas ??
