Problem with mgetty 1.1.5

Thanks to all for your help and insight. I went ahead and recompiled
and configured diald, mgetty, and minicom to use /var/lock and
LCK..cua3. Minicom was using LCK..modem so I had to fix that also
since the lockfiles don't follow links.
