Hi,
At work I have mgetty installed, and working nice...(Without callback).
If I try to use callback, (that comes with mgetty), the modem in the UNIX
box running mgetty does the job, calling me at home, but when my PC (with
Windows95) feels that the modem has being disconnected, all gets wrong.
It is important to denote, that I don't have this problems when I connect to
a NT server, that calls me back... In this case, before the modem
disconnects some 'escape-sequences' (I guess) are sent from the NT-Server to
my PC at home (or modem at home), to setup for the callback, and then, I get
a popup message telling me that the PC is preparing itself for callback.
Now, what is the setup I need to add in the login file?
( some +++ commands?)
Any examples for the callback setup file?
(The documentation doesn't explain a lot on this issue...)
The modems I use are (In both sides) US Robotics Sporster Voice 33.6
Faxmodem with personal voice mail.
TIA.
