Fax Daemon

Just out of curiosity, is there a fax daemon available that is
compatible with sendfax? I was thinking about something that would
take a fax in the g3 format and send it to an IP address on the internet
that has this daemon running and it would put it in the incoming fax
directory.

Would something like this be feasible?
