Did I delete this sentence? This solution is only *one* possibility, but
not that, what I'm really looking for - sure, but for many people it is an
easy and quick solution, why not add to the list of possibilities?

I don't know if it is possible and if I like the idea, but if you can ask
your client what system it ist (something like mozilla on linux
version2.0.2... - must be somewhere in the http-protokol, because roxen
has a tag for this), why not try to find out if it is installed and use
this way?

Anyway, I'll keep this solution in mind, I like the idea - thats what
mime-Type-headers are for - why not use them?
