Hi,
I have an embedded modem in some equipment that uses a Rockwell
chipset. When this sends a fax, although it is received fine on a HP
Officejet fax machine, a connection with my USR Courier fails.
I am running mgetty 1.1.20 on Linux. I haven't yet turned up debug
information, but wondered if anyone could help from the following:
This is the notify message from new_fax:
>An incoming fax transmission failed (+FHNG: -6):
>Sender ID: 732
>Pages received: 0
>
>Modem device: ttyS0
>
>Communication parameters: +FCS:0,2,0,2,0,0,0,0
> Resolution : normal
> Bit Rate : 7200
> Page Width : 1728 pixels
> Page Length: unlimited
> Compression: 0 (1d mod Huffman)
> Error Corr.: none
> Scan Time : 0

>Reception Time : 02:10

>
>The fax receive was *not* fully successful
>The Modem returned +FHNG: -6
> (TIMEOUT waiting for modem response (int.))

And the mgetty log file:

I would be grateful for any help getting this working.
