Hello. I've got a real problem. My Provider Has A CHAP protocal for
authentification.
I've got Red Hat Linux 5.2 (Kernel 2.2.2), and trying to config that
callback for almost 3 months without success.
I've got an Sportster External 33600, and it is on ttyS1.
I can connect from within X-Windows, with the kppp program (from kde). but
just using chap, and it goes through without calling back.
The ISP's callback system is on a BSD. To Login from M$ Windows I must :
Connect to ISP (CHAP). login and password, then to INDICATE the calling back
number (my telephone number), then to wait for callback.
I was trying to use callback v4.22 along with mgetty, but failed to do it.
Thanks!
