Success + a Caller ID Question

I've finally got it licked, I think. My main problem was that the .wav I recorded in Windows was using too high of a sampling rate, and wouldn't convert cleanly... thus, vgetty wasn't playing it. The vgetty log files were helpful in determining this, but a lack of documentation on pvftools was a hinderance.

I still have more testing to do, but I am thrilled with the outcome sofar. Works great with the Kvoice front end.

Question: What is the best method of Caller-ID you folks have found? How can I get Vgetty to write the incoming caller ID information to a log file?

I've tried several of the programs out there, and can't get them to work. Xcallerid looks promising, but won't work without a database.

Kudos to Marc and Gert,
Dan.
