Success + a Caller ID Question

Questions:  

1)  How do you write the cnd-program data to a local Xterm?  this is exactly what I want.  Where are you reading it from, and how?

2)  As vgetty stands now, it doesn't enable Caller ID by default.  It is possible to enable AT#CID=1 without recompiling the sources?  I recompiled the latest beta, but the pvftools were always core dumping on me, making the program unusable.  How do I customize my init string?
