I send it to syslog, using the program logger:

/usr/bin/logger -p local1.info "ISDN CALL: tty: $1 from '$2' to '$5'"

sylog is set up to broadcast this to all consoles where I'm logged in
(man syslog.conf).

Please read up the call syntax of "cnd-program" in the mgetty docs. The
caller ID and lots of other stuff are passed on the command line.

Sure, just set a proper "init-chat" in mgetty.config.

That's unusual. Could you send some more details?

Go to mgetty.config and look at the examples, go to
http://alpha.greenie.net/mgetty/ and read the mgetty manual.
